Payment Security at Hugspirey Hugspirey adopts mainstream industry‑leading e‑commerce and payment security technologies to secure your financial transactions when purchasing our children’s toys and defend against unauthorised account behaviours.

Payments are processed reliably by Shopify and verified payment service providers displayed on the checkout page. Hugspirey will never obtain, view or permanently save your full payment card number nor your card security code (CVV).

Payment Authorization

Your bank or card‑issuing institution may apply common verification mechanisms including address validation, security code checks or multi‑factor authentication. A temporary authorisation hold may appear on your account before the actual payment is collected. Please be aware that the time for releasing this hold is fully determined by your own payment service provider.

Fraud Prevention

For the protection of shoppers buying our kids’ toys and to maintain store security, every order may go through standard risk checks for abnormal billing information or transaction behaviours. When reasonable safety requirements apply, we may ask for simple extra identity verification, reject a payment, or cancel an order.
